Perfect location near Central Park. Rooms are extremely small and the elevator wait times can be frustrating.

Fantastic location, fantastic amenities, with a short walk to Central Park and a helpful staff who made breakfast better than expected.
Not a single complaint.

Clean and fresh environment. Impressive location. The breakfast? Outstanding. A delightful variety that sets a high standard. The dining area combines spaciousness and comfort. Staff are the real highlight—professional, attentive, and consistently approachable. Needed an extra blanket? They delivered within minutes. Now, for the drawbacks—claustrophobic rooms, limited natural light, and outdated decor. The single elevator is inadequate, especially with high occupancy. Breakfast replenishment could improve; arriving late leads to sparse options. Room keys require frequent reprogramming, causing unnecessary frustration. This hotel has potential, but renovations and better logistics are essential for a truly exceptional experience. Worth considering, but weigh other options for value.

Great Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception. Small rooms and thin walls.

La Quinta By Wyndham is ideally situated just across from Central Park and close to numerous dining options. The neighborhood is quiet at night, making it a great choice for restful evenings after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly, adding to a pleasant stay.

The room was very small, making movement difficult. The bed was comfortable with a nice pillow, but there wasn't enough space for luggage. The bathroom was cramped, barely fitting a toilet and sink with no shelves for toiletries. I noticed a patch of mold that needed addressing. The electronic door locks were malfunctioning, leading to long waits in the lobby for access. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room, which felt quite stuffy. the breakfast options were suitable for a quick start to the day, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly, especially a guy at the front desk who went above and beyond to assist us. Breakfast each morning was solid, with plenty of tasty options for everyone.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the experience was still worth it.

The property offers incredible access to some of New York's must-see spots like Central Park, which is just a short 10-minute stroll away, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is about a 20-minute walk, plus there are countless great restaurants all around like Big Nick's Pizza Joint less than a 5-minute walk away, and the staff were really friendly, always willing to help, but the room is quite small and could use some updates.

I was shocked at how tiny the room was—hardly any space to move around, and the bathroom felt like it belonged in a camper. The closet was almost useless, and there was a weird smell that lingered all night.

The staff were incredibly attentive, making me feel valued from the moment I walked in. The hotel had a pleasant scent, and my room was welcoming with the lights on and a TV set to Cartoon Network. The location was superb, just a block from Central Park. the room was cramped, and basic amenities like a fridge and decent bathroom space were lacking. Unfortunately, I encountered some service hiccups with a rude clerk and misleading information about my reservation. Despite a mix of great hospitality and frustrating service issues, I found moments to genuinely appreciate the experience.

the staff is super friendly and helpful. the prime location lets you explore everything quickly and easily, plus there's a great little coffee shop just around the corner for a caffeine fix
the breakfast setup felt more like a cafeteria than a hotel

My wife says that the hotel lacked child-friendly amenities.

During my Christmas stay, the location near Central Park was unbeatable for enjoying the holiday ambiance and taking relaxing walks. The breakfast offered a decent selection, including eggs, potatoes, bread, cereals, and fruits – providing a good start to the day.
The room was disappointingly small and cramped, not leaving much space for comfort. encountering stained and worn-out bedding was a major letdown, especially at the price point.

Great location next to Central Park, comfortable bed, free coffee, and cold drinking water available. Helpful and knowledgeable front desk staff.
Felt very lucky, nothing too much trouble.

Loved how close it was to Central Park and other attractions - super convenient! The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when it came to finding the hop on hop off bus tour. Plus, the heater and AC in the room worked like a charm, perfect for adjusting to the temperature changes.
The cleanliness left a lot to be desired - dirty halls, rooms, and even roaches. The staff's behavior was unacceptable, with one receptionist being outright rude when we requested to speak to a manager.

Our room at the back of the hotel was incredibly quiet, with the soothing sound of cooing pigeons. The free breakfast offered a variety of items, including scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit. The location was perfect, in a quiet area close to delicious restaurants and great shopping! I'd recommend this hotel.

We caught a game at Yankee Stadium and danced the night away at a cool rooftop club. The hotel was perfect for our squad getaway!
Wish the hotel had a hip rooftop bar for some late-night hangs after our adventures.

On the brighter side, the location was fantastic! It was super convenient with a subway stop nearby and great restaurants within reach. Plus, having Central Park just a stone's throw away was a treat. The staff at La Quinta were generally helpful and pleasant. The housekeeping team was on point, and the breakfast prepper was a gem. I also appreciated the small lobby with the water refill station - a nice touch. But, let's get into the nitty-gritty of things. The rooms were a mixed bag. Some were extremely tiny, to the point that only one person could move around comfortably. And the presence of cockroaches was a definite no-no. having a room with various broken items like the phone, hairdryer, and shower is not ideal. Another downside was the lack of proper amenities like a mini-fridge or microwave. And the maintenance of the property left much to be desired - chipped paint, old carpets, and a generally run-down vibe. Despite the setbacks, the comfortable bed and the overall cleanliness of the room were appreciated. But for the price paid, the value just didn't quite match up.

Choosing La Quinta for its convenient location near Central Park Zoo was the best decision. The parking facilities and outstanding customer service agents made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the easy access to fine dining and exciting attractions that make New York truly unique.
Small rooms; mistaken room assignment.

Our stay at this hotel was enjoyable and hassle-free. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location couldn't have been better, with Central Park, Lincoln Center, subways, restaurants, and shopping all within close proximity. The room may have been small, but considering the great price and the prime location, it was more than acceptable. The stable Wi-Fi was a definite plus, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay.
Room cleanliness could have been better, with worn-out lampshades, blinds, and filthy windows. The bathroom had peeling paint and some corners were not properly cleaned.
